Alumnus' agency recognised for fast growth
The Response Team, a media agency owned by Dominic Benton BGP 2007 has been revealed as the fastest growing UK media agency outside of the capital in a study published in Campaign magazine.
In the annual 'School Reports' rankings, complied by Neilson, The Response Team recorded the highest growth of all the listed agencies outside of London with a staggering 95.8 percent year-on-year rise in recorded billings between 2010 and 2011.
Over the past fourteen years the agency, which is based near Bath, has gone from strength to strength, adding high profile brands including Vistaprint.co.uk, BT, Flybe, BooHoo.com, lnterflora, MandM Direct and Morrisons to its ever-expanding portfolio of clients.
Founder Dominic says: "We've had a fantastic year. We've built an exceptional client list and we've got an extremely talented team providing exactly what these clients need. We're generating new customers and new income streams for leading brands and I don't think any other agency can match our mix of skills."
Dominic, who used to work at leading media agency Carat, attributes the agency's success to the fact that it offers the right services for today's tough market. He says: "We appeal to high growth clients, many of which are leading internet brands, because we can match their ambitions. For example, the TV campaigns we plan are producing excellent returns and helping our clients to step up to the next level of growth. Everything we do is geared towards helping our clients to grow their profitability while keeping risk to a minimum".
The success looks to continue as The Response Team is forecasting an increase in turnover to £17 million and an increase in pre-tax profits of over 60 percent for the 2011/2012 financial year.
